Mifundo and SID/SOLUS partner to strengthen cross-border credit data across Central Europe

Mifundo announces new partnership with SID/SOLUS, a leading Czech credit-information provider.

Tallinn/Prague, 26.11.2025 - Mifundo, the fintech developing a pan-European cross-border credit data platform, has announced a new partnership with the SOLUS credit-information register, operated by Společnost pro informační databáze (SID), one of the Czech Republic’s key providers of credit and client-information services.

Millions of people in Europe switch countries every year for work, study, or family reasons, yet their financial histories often remain locked within national systems. When a customer arrives with a credit past from another country, banks face uncertainty - information is incomplete, verification is slow, and risk models struggle to account for cross-border profiles.

Through this partnership with SID, Mifundo’s unified European framework will be enhanced with data from the SOLUS database, which is the largest database of individuals with overdue debt in the Czech Republic and with data from the country’s public registers of debt enforcement proceedings and insolvencies. Banks using Mifundo’s platform can access verified Czech credit information alongside data from other countries, improving their ability to evaluate applicants whose financial lives span multiple jurisdictions and helping ensure consistent, responsible credit decisions.

“SID and the SOLUS register are among the most trusted providers of credit-information services in the Czech market,” said Kaido Saar, CEO of Mifundo. “By integrating their high-quality data into a single European framework, we can help banks reduce cross-border risk and serve mobile Europeans with greater confidence and consistency.”

“For more than two decades, SOLUS has supported responsible lending in the Czech Republic by providing secure, accurate and timely information to lenders,” said Jan Hurny, executive director of SID. “Through this partnership with Mifundo, Czech credit-information data will contribute to a stronger and more connected European credit market, benefiting both lenders and individuals.”

As of today, the SOLUS database brings together around 50 companies from various economic sectors that provide services to Czech consumers. These include non-bank financial institutions, banks, telecommunications operators, energy distributors, P2P lending platforms, and other companies.

This collaboration expands Mifundo’s growing network of European data partners and reinforces its mission to make banking truly borderless – enabling faster, fairer, and more consistent lending decisions anywhere in Europe.
